YASA Yoga is a privately owned yoga and retail studio in Santa Barbara, California. We are committed to protecting your best interests both on and off the mat. By using our services, you agree to comply with the policies listed below.
Schedules, teachers and prices of classes, packages, events, memberships and/or products are subject to change without notice. Please always check our website for our most current offers. On rare occasions, the studio may cancel classes, workshops and/or events. If your event is canceled, you will be appropriately notified and will receive a full refund or credit toward your YASA Yoga account.
Refund and Cancellation Policies
Classes and class packages. If you are unable to attend a prepaid class, please contact us to cancel at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of the class. Class packages are non-refundable and only subject to credit to your YASA Yoga account. All packages (including 5, 10, & 20 class packages) are valid for six months. Exceptions will be made only for approved medical reasons, including pregnancy. Always check your expiration date before and after your purchase.
Workshops and events. If you are unable to attend a prepaid workshop or event, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of the workshop. Cancellation requests made after this time will not be honored unless we can fill your space. An absence without notification cannot qualify for a refund or credit. All refunds will incur a 20% administration fee, or, you may receive a full refund credited to your YASA Yoga account, which can be used toward any purchase within the studio or website. Teacher Trainings. If you wish to cancel your participation in a teacher training, you must give notice at least 7 days prior to the commencement of the module. In such instances, you will have the option of receiving either a direct refund minus a 20% administrative fee or a full refund as YASA Yoga credit to your account. If you have commenced teacher training, or request a cancellation within 7 days of the training start date, you are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions may apply on a case-by-case basis.
Gift Cards & Retail. Gift Cards are not exchangeable for cash. Apparel items are non-returnable and non-refundable once the price tags are off and the item has been worn.
Private Instruction. Full payment will be charged if you cancel a private session with less than 24 hour notice. If you are late for a private class, the class will end at the original time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a private class it is at the instructor’s discretion whether to hold an abbreviated class or not.
Late Entry and Early Departure
Students can arrive a maximum of 10 minutes late. After this time, no latecomers will be admitted, and we will kindly ask that you come to a future class.
If you would like to leave early from class, feel free to do so. We know you have busy schedules! We ask that you please take a few moments of savasana for yourself before quietly rolling up your mat and exiting. Your karma will stay in good standing with us!
The YASA Yoga Studio is fortunate to have a large practice space in which classes are held. However, there is a limit to how many bodies can comfortably fit in our yoga rooms. Once this number of people are registered for class, we would ask that remaining students return to take a different class.
YASA Yoga will not be responsible for lost or stolen items under any circumstances. The studio provides a Lost and Found box for items students may leave behind. Please ask a staff member to see the box for your belongings.
Your privacy and security is important to us. Any personal information you choose to give us will only be used to help us provide you with the highest quality services, products, and support.
Information use. We collect personally identifiable information (such as names, addresses, email, etc.) when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. We may collect additional information, including billing and credit card data, only when voluntarily submitted by the patron and for the use of patron-approved transactions and auto-payments.
Our commitment. YASA Yoga takes reasonable precautions to provide a level of security appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we collect. We will never share your personal or financial information with any outside parties. Although we use reasonable measures to help protect your information against unauthorized use or disclosure, we cannot guarantee the security of information provided over the Internet or stored in our databases and will not be responsible for breaches of security beyond our reasonable control.
