Fall is a time to reflect on the year harvest pluck what is ripe, and shed the tapas (conditions) that no longer serve us.
Join us to Celebrate transformation and prepare for the last quarter of this year. Through yoga, ayurvedic oils, kriyas, pranayama, laughter, movement, chanting and meditation we will levitate and land into Fall. This session is designed to uproot deeply seated toxins, called ama in Ayurveda.
We will begin our detox by sipping on a specially prepared Ayurvedic tea, which helps in the detoxification process. From there, we massage herbally medicated oils onto the body, then launch into a Yoga Asana practice sequence to help detoxify the internal organs and the tissues while moving up the chakra system and renewing our inner agni (fire).
The class will end with yin Yoga (long deep holds), intention meditation and chanting. Re-hydrating beverages and healthy replenishing snacks will be provided.
Things to Note...
*Wear clothing your don't mind getting oil on, women short shorts and sports bra, men swim trunks *Bring water and large towel... you will sweat... a lot *Pre cleanse is highly recommended by cutting out dairy, alchohol, processed foods and sugars, at least 5 days prior.
This is an intense workshop but available to ALL LEVELS modifications will be offered.
Contraindications: Heart disease, Pregnancy, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hypertension stage 3 and or Fibromyalgia.
