ABOUT THE SPACE
22 W. Mission is a historic Santa Barbara building that used to be the home of Charlie Chaplin. In 1912, the American Film Manufacturing Company "The Flying A" moved to Santa Barbara and was housed in Suite B. The Flying A Studios later merged to form Mutual Film Corporation, who later signed on Charlie Chaplin as a lead comedian.
The gorgeous wood floors, 20-foot ceilings with exposed beams, and Santa Barbara mission-style we all love, also set the stage for the Green Dragon Café. Many guest celebrities would drop by and have live acoustic sessions. The building is full of vibrant energy and inspiration. We hope you find our space the platform for you to transform on your mat.
